We had a fun little party for Nolan on the day of his birthday. It was a morning/lunch party with his little friends. First we had playtime at the park across the street. Then we had lunch, cake pops & presents on the deck. Nolan had such a great time! He kept randomly yelling out "birthday" the whole day long. Of course i had to get him a birthday shirt again. This time it was made by a lady in Vancouver that i found on Etsy. I asked her to do a bus design and she willingly created the fabulous shirt. The theme was "transportation" and i had so much fun creating all sorts of decorations for the party. I was even able to incorporate some of Nolan's favourite toys into the mix. The cake pops were super yummy and so easy to make for a kid's party. There are endless decorating possibilities for those. The kid's bag lunches had popcorn twists, yogurt, juice boxes and pb&j sandwiches shaped like trains or boats. The name banner doubles as an awesome wall decoration for his room, replacing the monkey one from last year. All in all it was a nice whirlwind of events. The party was over by nap time and he slept very well, even after two cake pops ;) Thank you to all his little friends and their moms who made it out for the party!
