27 weeks

Pregnancy #2 is still going swimmingly.  Our baby boy is healthy and growing.  In the last couple of weeks baby has decided to start jabbing and punching around more.  This now makes his movements visible to the outside instead of me just feeling them.  Nolan has gotten kicked in the head a few times already.  He doesn't seem to notice though and doesn't really care too much right now.  He knows that there is a baby in there or at least that is what everyone is saying.  I am sure it won't be the last time he gets kicked in the head by his brother though...many interesting moments to come.  My routine midwife appointments will be switching to every two weeks soon as i am reaching my third trimester.  We are planning for another home water birth and that means i need to get my supplies in order soon.  With this pregnancy i am definitely on my feet for most of the day as opposed to last time when i was working at a desk job and sitting for most of the day.  So by the end of the day now, i am feeling like taking a break.  Only one more week until the 3D ultrasound where Nolan will get to see his baby brother for the first time.  I am very curious to see if he will care and what he will do.  Hopefully it will make things seem a little more real for him but that can't be guaranteed until baby actually arrives in the flesh!
