Hello Seattle!

A few weekends ago, Grant & I decided to take a last minute trip down to Seattle for the night.  So we packed up our car as full as we could (travelling with a young child requires waaaay too many things) and made our way to the fantastical Grand Hyatt!  We scored a smoking good deal on priceline.com for our last minute mini-vaca and were pleasantly surprised when the Hyatt jumped on our offer.  For those of you who don't understand how priceline works, sorry, i am not explaining it now.  With a gift card that we'd been dying to use (thanks P&E) we had a scrumptious dinner at PF Changs, which was only a short stroll from our hotel.  With a missed afternoon nap for our Nolan, we weren't sure how an evening out at a noisy restaurant would turn out but we were pleasantly surprised that he only screamed his head off...once or twice ;)  Between his "sucky", a lemon wedge and my camera bag, we were golden and able to enjoy every yummy minute!
Patting the table...a favourite thing to do

Nolan loves lemon wedges just like his daddy
The video below captures the first time we've ever seen his sour face

All items from the gluten free menu....yes, we can still eat well!

A Starbucks in the lobby of our hotel? How perfect!

Taking a breakfast stroll down the strip

Usually its a guitar...but this guy wanted to be different
