About a week and half ago Grant, Nolan and I flew out to Manitoba to surprise my dad for his 60th birthday. Myself, my brother and sister and my dad's girlfriend had been planning a surprise party for several weeks already. I can hardly believe that we managed to pull of the surprise. Especially when I'm pretty sure the entire town (3500 people) knew that we were coming out. Word travels fast in a small town. It was so rewarding to see all the planning come together and to see my dad's face when he walked in the door. The cake was awesome, thanks to Cake-ology in Winnipeg.
