The Sweet Spot: February Family Visit

OK, so i know this post is long overdue, like most of my posts. In late February we had the privilege of hosting some family for an extended long weekend. Terry & Melanie drove out earlier in the week and we were able to take in the Hillsong concert here in Abbotsford. I can honestly say that before that concert i wasn't much of a fan of Hillsong. But since that concert and hearing their latest album 'Aftermath'...i am hooked! I probably haven't stopped playing the album since the concert and it has definitely become one of my "go to" albums during the day. The rest of the visit included lots of love, laughter, cooking & eating and definitely some relaxation too. Melanie and I were able to take in a spa date for pedicures where we were pampered a little. It was so fantastic to be able to enjoy that experience together again.
We love hosting our family and we are always sad to see them go but we know it is only "see you later" and we know we will always make the effort to keep ourselves "close" in other ways between visits.
