This fun filled weekend happened a while ago already. I am so behind in the blogging department that you can expect several posts in the next day or so.
For July long weekend we had the honour of hosting a few special people. Grant's brother Sheldon surprised him with a visit on the same weekend that Terry & Melanie & Maia drove our way from AB. With a short unexpected overnighter from Mike & Natalya...we were a whole big group of Krahn bros and sis' minus one special lady Melissa who was missed by all.
We had a nice relaxing weekend. Maia & Nolan were reunited as they hadn't seen each other since Christmas...so much had changed since then. Still not quite at the right ages to play together but you could see that they loved each other anyway and were intrigued with what the other was doing or playing with. Melanie and I were able to step out for some girl time and pamper our toes with a pedicure and our taste buds with some cheesecake! It was so wonderful to get a little bit of time away together. We got out for a few walks and the kids exchanged late birthday gifts. Nolan was so thrilled to finally get the long awaited "backhoe". He still plays with it daily!
We really enjoyed having everyone out again. Nolan is finally starting to remember his aunties and uncles :) Now we wait again...until Christmas eeeeek!
