The juust of June

The month of June didn't bring much for sunny warm days but we made do with the days we had.  We were able to take in a few BBQ parties with friends on the evenings that were awesome.  Grant's 30th Birthday was wonderful and we shared that with our friends as well, with a birthday brunch and a round of golf.  We wrapped up the month by helping a friend move.
Nolan is always keeping us on our toes and i am often surprised how far his energy can last.  We have arrived at the days where we have to negotiate our walks with him, walking part ways and then riding in the wagon for the rest of the time.  He prefers to walk everywhere so stroller rides are fewer and far between but he always wants to take the wagon along, even if he's not riding in it.  He is definitely putting more thoughts together to form actual phrases rather than just single words.  It is funny to hear him calling out "excuse me" to anything that is in his way whether it can move or not.  Usually "thank you, welcome" goes together.  And "all done" goes with everything when we leave somewhere..."all done groceries", "all done park".  His newest thing is thinking or saying that he is scared of things.  This stems from the incident in my office where he accidentally turned on the paper shredder in reverse and got a little surprised by the noise and paper coming out at him.  For a month he wouldn't step foot in my office and just stood outside the door whining "paper, paper".  He is over it now but it was actually kind of nice to not have to tell him to stay out of the office or not play with the computer in there.
June also brought two separate rounds of company for us but i will post those fun times on their own.

Relaxing with daddy in bed
Reading stories on the couch and being goofy
On one of our walks
The new bike that actually fits
Out for his first ride
My random thrift store find...still not sure what to do with it
Doesn't everyone have a photo like this?
Getting a free ride
Trying so hard to be helpful during the move
Nolan wasn't quite done sleeping after his nap, neither was daddy ;)
I think i have a photo of me at a very similar age, making the exact same cheesy smile :)

Love the photos, looks like daddy fell asleep before Nolan there in the one. :)
