Diaper Cake Creation #7

I've been meaning to post this for a few weeks now and didn't make it happen before i left for chilly Manitoba.  So now i sit at my dad's laptop with a sketchy internet connection and no cellphone service, lol.  It definitely feels strange having nearly no way to connect with my friends back home in Abby.  And speaking of friends back in Abby, this post is about my most recent diaper cake creation for a good friend and her new baby girl Vayda.  I'm going to put it out there that i definitely guessed she was having a girl but I'm sure it was just a lucky guess :)
I have to say that for some reason this cake has been my favourite so far.  No offense to the other cakes or their owners but it was so fun to decorate with pink, black & white.  Candice is a very cool chick and i really like her style (attitude & fashion).  She had her first baby when i was only a few weeks pregnant and i knew right away that i liked the way she was so calm and cool about everything.  It really rubbed off on me because it is not in my nature to be super calm and cool.  I'm a bit of a stress case a lot of the time.  She always had great advice for me that helped to ease my mind.  Thanks Candice!  You have no idea how much you have helped me along the way of mommyhood.
Another good friend of mine, Nicole, made all the crocheted goodies again.  I just absolutely love the little hat and booties in black.  She did an amazing job once again.  Thanks Nicole!
