January 31st marked the 4 year anniversary of my mom passing away.  Obviously i don't save all of my thoughts of her for one day a year but i do always find myself thinking about her a lot more than usual.  This year was especially tough being that i am now a mom myself.  All i could think about was that she didn't get to meet Nolan and she would have loved him so much. They would have had so much fun reading and laughing together.  Nolan can always sense a calm, loving spirit in a person and i know for certain he would have felt that with her.  All i can do now is show pictures and tell stories of her, so that he can get to know her a little.
In my heart, I'm in a good place about it all.  But that doesn't mean i don't love her, miss her and wish she were here now.   So, here are a couple of photos that i keep close.
Mom, I know you are having a blast hanging with J.C. I love you!

A big HUG your way from us. I have thought and prayed for you a lot this year in this aspect as well. But for some reason have never brought it up. You are such a strong woman and such an amazing mom. Your mom would have been SO proud of you!
